Wonderful Night in the grass

Bodhi wanted to test his newest skill! Sitting. We went out in the front yard and he had a ball. Header snapped a couple hundred photos! He loves being outside and craves the attention from the lens.

6 months!

Here are some fun 6 month pictures that Dan took of Bodhi. It's so hard to believe that he's already 1/2 a year old! He is definitely trying to move all over the place, but I wouldn't call it crawling. He arches his back and does what I'd call "the worm" to move all over the place on the floor. He's also continuing to make lots of noise, which we all find very entertaining, especially his, "I'm about to fall asleep" song. It's been great being out of school and being able to spend more time with him! We're also watching Baxter and Sophie during the day, and Bodhi absolutely adores his cousins. Unfortunately, though, he doesn't like to sleep when they're around; he's afraid he'll miss out on something! We look forward to having an exciting, busy, and action-packed summer together!

Food #2 = squash! I think that it went down a little better than applesauce...or maybe he just had more all over him!

After another great doctor's appointment, where we found out that Bodhi is still at the top of the charts (almost 22 pounds and 28 and 1/2 inches long), we were excited to hear that it's time to try some baby food! Here are some fun pictures of Bodhi experimenting with applesauce--yummy!

We headed to Miller after the funeral, so we wouldn't be driving 8 hours with him in one day. Of course, he had a blast hanging out with the lovely Beckett girls, especially when they found a bouncy chair for him! We also went out to the airport to greet Todd as he returned from Des Moines, and mommy even got to go on a half hour flight around Miller with him--how cool! We flew low over Troy's ranch, hoping to see some calving going on, but no luck! Maybe next year!

Family time

While we celebrated Grandma Peterson's life, we also spent some time hanging out with lots of cousins--very fun, indeed! We learned that Hayden, who is 14 months old, weighs 20 pounds, while Bodhi, who's six months old, weighs almost 22 pounds! We look forward to being able to see them again at the family reunion in 2 weeks!
