First bites!

After another day with grandma and grandpa, and Bodhi hardly eating anything (he would really prefer the real thing instead of bottles, even though the bottles are pumped!), we decided to give rice cereal a chance. After Bodhi woke up from his afternoon nap, we mixed some rice cereal with some milk and gave it a try! Daddy had fun feeding him (this was both of their first times--Daddy's first time feeding a baby {he learned how to use the spoon to scoop up what was spit out}, and Bodhi's first experience with a spoon and something other than breast milk (he was definitely curious; we're still debating on whether or not he liked it)! You'll have to judge for yourself by checking out the photos...

Another beautiful day!

We had some more great weather today (daddy said that was perfect weather for working at the golf course); after school, grandpa and I met mommy at Tech to catch some of Zack's track meet. We had to borrow grandpa's hat (we left Bodhi's hat and sunglasses at grandma and grandpa's) and put on some sunscreen, and he sure seemed to enjoy watching all of the different events taking place! Afterwards, we went home for a yummy dinner (daddy made BBQ chicken on the grill), and we had fun being entertained by the little guy before he took his bath and went to bed!

My future's so bright...

...I gotta wear shades! It was so nice out (around 70 degrees), so we just had to take some photos of Bodhi donning his toddler sunglasses, as well as show how he's trying to be just like daddy! We're happy that he doesn't seem to mind wearing the eye protection--this should help make for a great summer!

Just duckie!

We just had to capture the moment of Bodhi all cuddled up in his duckie blanket--is he super cute, or what? He really does enjoy the bath; he loves to kick and splash around in the water. It's hard to believe, but he's already almost outgrown his Sassy bathtub!

Happy Easter!

What an exciting Easter! Bodhi was all decked out for church, sporting one of Baxter's old outfits, complete with a tie and suspenders! We went to the 8:30 service, then did a little driving around town. We stopped at home for a change of clothes and for Bodhi to get a little to eat, then headed over to Minerva's to meet the family. On our way there, Bodhi fell asleep, and he slept through most of lunch (I think that he was tired from waiting up for the Easter Bunny)! After lunch, we headed out to grandma and grandpa's, where daddy tried out his new kite and we played with Baxter, Sophie, and Duncan. It was fun hanging out with everybody (including Grandma and Grandpa Meyer; Grandpa Linde; Uncle Jeff, Aunt Susie, Baxter and Sophie; Aunt Karlin, Uncle Lee, and Duncan; Great Grandma and Grandpa Meyer; Great Aunt Hazel; Aunt Tammy, Nick, Kendra, and Zack; Uncle Don; Aunt Heidi and Jeremy). We had some more great food, played some games, hunted for Easter eggs (we even dyed some at grandma's yesterday) and got held by just about everyone! What a great first Easter!

Whenever Mommy gets close enough to his nice, big cheeks, she just can't help but kiss them! Of course, there is always some tickling involved, too!

4 months old!

Here are some 4 month old pictures of Bodhi--we can't believe that he's 4 months old already! At his 4 month appointment, he weighed in at 19 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 26 1/2 inches long--he's a pretty big boy, in over the 97% for his age! The shots were a little more difficult this time--there was only one nurse, so he had to be poked 2 separate times, darn it! It also took him a little longer to recover from the shots, maybe because he's had a bit of a cold/congestion lately. He's been taking some longer naps during the day, helping him to get his strength back--go Bodhi, go!
