Lil' slugger

After a yummy lunch (pulled pork sandwiches, cabbage salad, calico beans, and fruit) at Aunt Tammy's (along with Nick, Charlotte, Roger, Karen, Nick (Jr.), Kendra, Jeff, Susie, Baxter, Sophie, Stan, Jackie, Paiton, Brian, and Heidi), we had to go home and change into some cooler clothes! We took these pictures on top of the hot tub on the deck, showcasing another beautiful day! We also walked down (with the Snugli) to get the mail, and we ran into a few of the neighbor girls; Bodhi was talking away to them, telling them all about his great day!

Skiing machine!

We headed up to Mystic Mountain on Saturday to take advantage of the lovely weather--what a beautiful day! We met grandpa, grandma, Stan, Jackie, and Paiton (who are here visiting from Oklahoma for their Spring Break), Jeff, Susie, Baxter, and Sophie up on the hill, plus we also ran into McKenna and her boyfriend--what a great surprise! You can see how nice it was by looking at our attire--we had to shed our hats, jackets, and gloves as the temperatures climbed to over 50 degrees--here comes Spring! Dan decided to pack up Bodhi in the Snugli, walk up the hill a ways, then ski down to show him what exciting things he has to look forward to! He really enjoyed it; as soon as Dan stopped at the bottom of the hill, he fussed a bit, wanting some more! Dan took him up a couple of more times, then we decided to call it a day. What a great way to spend a Saturday!

3 months old!

It's so hard to believe that Bodhi's already 3 months old! They aren't kidding when they say that time flies when you're having fun! We have had so much excitement as a family, witnessing so many amazing things as Bodhi grows. Today, he started to realize that he had fingers (he was staring at them in the Jumperoo, then he decided to try to put his fingers in his mouth; this time, one at a time versus his whole fist). It's been an interesting week with grandma and grandpa (who usually care for him during the day) in Baltimore; Dan's been watching him during some of the day (Bodhi loves having some great bonding time with his daddy, especially in the morning when he seems to be extra giggly), as well as aunt Karlin and cousin Duncan (both of whom Bodhi just adores) and Nancy (a friend of ours who loves to snuggle with him). Plus, Heather has had classes this week, so aunt Tammy and great grandma Meyer have been kind enough to hang out with him, too. Tammy thinks that Bodhi may be teething; he seems to get pretty drooly at times. He showed great grandma how good he is at kicking away with his legs--we'll have to get him back to the pool this weekend!

Away for 5 days

Here is a video that Heather shot while I was in San Jose. I can not believe how much he changed in 5 days. He seems pretty happy!
