All clean!

Getting ready for bed!

Happy Halloween!

We got all dressed up in our costumes (Bodhi as a dog, Mommy as a Professional Dog Walker, and Daddy as a Dog Catcher) and made the loop. We started out at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Susie's, with the pumpkin launch competition. There were a total of around 10 entries, and Daddy and Nick's launcher won the competition! Modeled after a potato launcher, it definitely got the job done! We then went to the Pumpkin Patch Bash at church, where Daddy had to shoot off a few more pumpkins and wow the crowds. Our evening ended with Aunt Karlin's Halloween Bash at the Senior Center, where Bodhi got to see Duncan all dressed up as a skeleton. I think that Bodhi had a great first Halloween, even though he wasn't able to stay awake for any of the trick-or-treaters that we had when we got home!

Mr. Skeleton

Daddy went hunting East River with Grandpa Linde and Marilyn (and Chuck and Gary), so Bodhi and I decided to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa Meyer's. We took advantage of the beautiful weather, and decided to get some fun Autumn shots in the leaves with his skeleton outfit. As usual, he truly enjoyed the great outdoors, along with crunching the leaves. Isn't he just about the cutest skeleton that you've ever seen?

It's football season!

We decided to get all geared up in warm clothes and check out part of the hometown rivalry game--Central vs. Stevens. Bodhi was a little tuckered out, so he snoozed for most of the first half, waking up for the last few plays of second quarter. He really got a kick out of watching the game, along with watching the bands perform. We didn't get to stick around for the exciting ending, where Central pulled through and beat Stevens in overtime--go Cobblers!

This was Bodhi's first rodeo!

Even though it was a little chilly outside, Bodhi absolutely had a blast at his first rodeo, courtesy of Baxter and Sophie. He not only enjoyed watching them compete in all of their activities, but he also loved cuddling with Cecil in between events. Sophie even sid that he could borrow Cecil when he was big enough to rodeo--we'll have to see about that!

10 Months Old

Wow Summer is gone and winter is here. Where is fall. Bodhi is back into the school routine without a lot of problems. We have a nice ride out to Gma Karen and Roger's house and he is very excited to see them. Bodhi and I new favorite passtime is to go to Cabela's and wath the fish. Bodhi is almost ready to walk and can crawl at an amazing 3 MPH. WOW. Heather is Super busy but does an outstanding job with Bodhi. Halloween is just a few weeks away and Mommy and Bodhi will have fun costumes. Me....maybe,

Camping Take 2

Well the family loaded up Norman and went out to Dave and Marylin's for a great night. First we had a Camp fire down by the creek and cooked hot dogs and smores. Bodhi's favorite was the melon. We played in the stream and Bodhi felt the creek for the first time. He loved it The evening was perfect with cool temperatures and no bugs! Next we went to the camper and played some games before a very quiet night of sleep. In the morning we hiked up the new jeep trail and Heather was fortunate to see her first Rattlesnake. He was small and let us pass with out indecent. We found out the Heather can jump very high!
It was a super fun time and we can not wait to do it again.

CHS Soccer!

It was a beautiful afternoon for a soccer game! A lot of the family (including the visitors from Minnesota--Brooke, Matt, Gavin, Owen, and Hayden) was there to cheer on Zack (#5), who's playing on the Varsity team this year (as a sophomore). Unfortunately, O'Gorman won; but the kids sure had a fun time playing and entertaining themselves during the game! Hayden shared some toys with Bodhi (and gave him lots of hugs), and Bodhi enjoyed watching Gavin, Owen, Baxter, and Sophie pretend that they were underwater special agents. Afterwards, we went to church (with Grandma and Grandpa Meyer, and Grandpa Linde), then went to a nice dinner with Grandpa Linde. We're counting down--school starts in 3 days!

Top 12 things that make Bodhi smile:

12. Singing...okay, so he might not be able to sing too much yet, but he sure loves to hear "The Wheels on the Bus", "Twinkle, Twinkle", "ABCs", and "Old MacDonald"
11. Things that make noise (including his glowworm (which lights up and sings him songs), his prayer bear (which recites prayers in kids' voices), his drums, etc.)
10. Reading books (his favorites right now are Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and Guess How Much I Love You)
9. Riding bikes (he rides in his WeeRider seat, mounted on Daddy's bike, and wears his big boy helmet)
8. Water (taking baths, swimming, playing in the sink, you name it)!
7. When someone will grab onto his hands and help him walk around and explore
6. Doing anything outdoors (including fishing, hiking, and camping)
5. Driving his car around the neighborhood (with Mommy or Daddy pushing)
4. Crash landings, tickles, and being tossed up in the air--he's all boy!
3. Kids (especially his cousins)
2. Animals (especially Chuck and Gary (our dogs, or as Baxter calls them, Bodhi's big brothers), fish, and any stuffed animals (just take him into Cabela's and listen to him squeal))
1. Seeing Mom and Dad when they come home from work/class!

Road trip to Cody, Wyoming!

We made the annual road trip to Cody, Wyoming to go and visit our friends the Pequettes. Even though it took us about 7 hours to get there (thanks to the lovely road construction), Bodhi was quite the trooper! During our time there, Bodhi enjoyed doing the following: hanging out with his girlfriends (Aria (5), Promise (3), and Sunday (2); Promise, Sunday, and Bodhi all happen to currently weigh 27 pounds, despite their age differences; they also gave Bodhi his first tea party, where his favorite thing was to chew on the cups, plates, teapot, and anything else he could get his hands on), exploring the great outdoors (from playing in the front yard to swinging at the park, it was so nice to be in great company and relax in the beautiful weather), shopping at Sierra Trading Post (where we happened to find him some fun Keen shoes), watching Daddy fix up and ride Tim's moped and motorcycle (although he still may be a little disappointed that he's not big enough to ride them yet), enjoying the fine dining at Bubba's BBQ (okay, so Bodhi wasn't really able to enjoy this yet, but Mommy, Daddy, Adam, and Chris sure did), and checking out all of the indoor scenery (the fun shops, as well as all of the stuffed animals in the AmericInn Motel). All of these great events must have really worn Bodhi out, because he slept for over 4 hours on the way home! It was another great trip to Cody! Thank you, Pequettes! We decided that next time, we might just have to make the little trek to Yellowstone for the little guy!
